. . .until it exploded on this city boulevard. A town in Oregon had a better idea. While it took a long time, they buried it right where it washed up on the beach. Twenty years later, they dug her up and had a perfectly preserved whale skeleton for the museum. Even after 20 years, the skeleton still had tissue attached to it. After looking at this photo? It's easy to believe that. This is a LOT of innards!!! Sushi anyone?
